Adaware Spyware Removal Tool - Home page for AdAware, a free utility for finding, identifying and removing spyware and malware from your computer system. A paid version with more features is also available.
Adobe Acrobat Reader - This free program allows you to open, read and print the widely used pdf file format.
AVG Antivirus software - Home page for AVG Antivirus software (including their free version for individual users)
Belarc Inventory Tool - A helpful utility that inventories your computer and reports on its' installed hardware and software. Very helpful as a resource and record of what is on and in your computer.
DNS Stuff - Named to PCMag.com Top 100 Sites for 2005, Computing Category. This site has many DNS, networking, and domain registration tools for network administrators, domain owners, users of hosted DNS services, etc.

Firefox Browser - Firefox web browser is an open
source web browser that can be used as an alternative to Microsoft's Internet
Explorer. Some of it's unique features include tabbed browsing and generally
faster response times while browsing. Many users claim it is more secure than
Internet Explorer, whose close interaction with Windows makes your entire
computer vulnerable to bugs, viruses and other attacks. Unfortunately Firefox
does not work with all websites (including Windows Updates) and others running
specific codes for IE. However, it is a stable and viable alternative for most
users who are concerned with security and other issues.
Google Earth – Explore, Search and Discover - Want to know
more about a specific location? Dive right in -- Google Earth combines satellite
imagery, maps and the power of Google Search to put the world's geographic
information at your fingertips. Fly from space to your neighborhood by typing an
address and zooming right in. Search for schools, parks and other specific
locations and get driving directions. A very interesting site!
Google Search Page - Home page for the Google search engine which can help you navigate through the nearly infinite amount of data on today's internet
Google Toolbar Webpage - Home page for the free Google toolbar which, among other helpful features, includes a pop-up blocker to stop those pesky (and sometimes dangerous) website pop-ups.
Greenwich Meantime Converter - Online Webpage Greenwich Mean Time Time Converter. This website helps you to determine your local time based on the universal standard GMT from the Time Observatory in Greenwich, England. For example, the Central Time Zone in the United States is generally six hours behind GMT.
Magic Jellybean Key Finder - Keyfinder is a freeware utility that retrieves your Product Key (cd key) used to install windows from your registry. It has the options to copy the key to clipboard, save it to a text file, or print it for safekeeping. It works on Windows 95, 98, ME, NT4, 2000, XP, Server 2003, Office 97, and Office XP. This version is a quick update to make it work with Windows Server 2003. (Unfortunately it does not retrieve the product key for Office 2000.)
McAfee AVERT Stinger - is a stand-alone utility used to detect and remove specific viruses. While it will not replace the antivirus program you should be using on your computer, it is helpful to provide additional level of help and protection when scanning your computer.
Microsoft's Website - The official site of Microsoft Corporation which contains information, updates, articles and more about their products.
PDFonline File Conversion - This handy website offers free conversion of your document into a pdf file which is readable by anyone with the readily available free Acrobat Reader from Adobe (see my link above).
Practically Networked - A helpful site containing articles, reviews and guides for many networking questions
Spybot Search and Destroy Spyware Removal Tool - Home page for Spybot Search and Destroy, another free (although donations are requested) utility for finding, identifying and removing spyware and malware from your system. Spybot also includes an active monitoring tool called TeaTimer which actively monitors your computer for spyware attempting to install itself.
Symantec's Webpage - The home page for Symantec Corporation and their products including Norton's Antivirus, pcAnywhere, Norton Internet Security and more.

House Call - a free online site that will check your computer for
viruses, and spyware. Please note: The speed of your scan(s) will depend on the
speed of your internet connection.
